Magical experience
In order to sum up our East coast adventures 🐋🦖🏰⚔️⛱️🌳 on the Scottish Coastline, we could not only rate this international summer camp experience at Merchiston Castle through the lenses of the excellent quality standards of the academic services we were provided with by St. Andrews College Language School (Napier University, Merchiston Campus) but also through the amazing cultural context that Scotland could have offered us by its magical lands and Celtic legends (our visit to The Kelpies)! With its amazing architectural designs and colorful streets (Victoria & Cockburn Streets), Edinburgh is such a challenging city to explore. First, after a day trip to the land of the Unicorn 🦄 we have been stunned and inspired by the panoramic views taken from Carlon Hill. All along our journey, we could visit major landmarks such as Arthur's Seat behind Holyrood Palace and the Parliament, Leith River banks with its Dean Village, and the Firth of Forth as well as Princes Street in its New Town streets grid with the Royal Mile climbing up towards the Edinburgh Castle. Secondly, the students 👩🏻‍🎓👨🏻‍🎓 had a highly rewarding academic 🎓 experience with lots of various and interactive courses spent in the morning where they could boost their knowledge and improve their linguistic skills through their interaction with both native teachers & fellow international students coming from different countries (Italy, Germany, Bulgaria). Scotland has lots of catchy touristic spots to be proud of from magnificent castles 🏰 visited (both Stirling & Alnwick Castles), to the amazingly winding Northumberland's Coastal Route along the North Sea that stretches for miles, nature walks and lake cruises (Loch Lomond shores🚤), fancy little towns (Berwick-upon-Tweed) and villages stepped in history (Luss village) to some of the most delightful people you will ever meet. We will definitely miss everything the UK offers! Chapeau for such an incredible team and academic partners! 🎩
